Bullhorn CEO Art Papas Joins Career Collaborative’s Board of Directors
Art Papas, founder and CEO of Bullhorn, the global leader in recruiting software, has been named to the Board of Directors of Career Collaborative, a not-for-profit organization that helps low-income adults find and keep jobs with career potential.
Career Collaborative’s mission is to end working-class poverty by helping adults get and succeed at life-changing jobs, making Massachusetts and its families stronger. Since its founding in 1997, Career Collaborative has helped more than 1,750 families in the Boston area move toward economic self-sufficiency. In 2011, Bullhorn launched a partnership with Career Collaborative to help individuals secure new, lasting careers in the Boston area.
“When I founded Bullhorn, I wanted to build a company that delighted customers, challenged and rewarded employees, and improved its local community in truly meaningful ways,” Papas said. “So I am honored to join Career Collaborative’s Board of Directors and aid its efforts to end working-class poverty in the Boston area.”
“Having Art Papas join our Board is a big win for the team at Career Collaborative,” said Susan Schiro, president of the organization. “He cares about disadvantaged adults and their employers. And like us, he wants to help underemployed people build family-supporting careers, and to do what is right for their employers. Art knows what it takes to grow an organization. He asks the right questions and offers good advice. He is proactive and always follows through on his commitments.”
Like Papas, all of Bullhorn’s employees volunteer each quarter at charitable organizations as part of the company’s Bullhorn Cares initiative.
