Highlights From Day Two of Bullhorn Live #BHLive2013
Today was day two of the Bullhorn Live 2013 Conference, hosted in the heart of Boston’s Seaport District. Conference attendees began arriving as early as 7am for breakfast and registration before the morning sessions commenced. Bullhorn CEO, Art Papas kicked off the day with his keynote presentation on Bullhorn’s software and service roadmap.
The upbeat outlook for 2013 carried into the other sessions throughout the day. After lunch, well-known headhunter on Wall Street and Founder of Leitner Sarch Consultants, Danny Sarch, gave a presentation on his “three legged stool” approach to picking the right job orders and getting acceptances.
“If you don’t ask the tough questions, then the worst questions will come up at the wrong time – closing time,” Sarch said.
“The Power of Social Recruiting” panel discussion followed the afternoon breakout sessions. Wendy Kennah of Procom, Jim Dimovski of the Lannick Group of Companies, and David Hayes of HireMinds all spoke about their teams’ use of social media for recruitment, while taking questions from the audience and the #BHLiveSocial Twitter feed.
After a full day of education, networking and fun, conference attendees relaxed and dined at Bullhorn Live’s signature party, hosted this year at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) museum.
It was an awesome second day and we are so thankful for our amazing network of clients, vendors, speakers, staff, and supporters who all made it possible!
