A: The Bullhorn Partnership Ecosystem enables our partners to build turnkey integrations to our core ATS product and consists of two stages of partnership, the Developer Program and the Marketplace Program. A: Here at Bullhorn, we’re proud to support an open ecosystem and welcome conversations with companies of any shape and size. Because our customer base is made up almost primarily of third party staffing and recruiting companies, an interest in growing or expanding your footprint in the staffing industry is a crucial component to being successful in our program.
A: Once you’ve completed the onboarding process with us, new partners typically receive their sandbox credentials and dedicated API key within a few business days. From there, your team can start building right away and leverage our extensive technical guides and documentation throughout the process.
Once you’ve completed building your integration, we’ll have you document the details and submit it to our technical teams for formal review. We’ll work together to address any questions or concerns that may come up during the review process and let you know once your integration has been officially approved!
A: While Bullhorn maintains an open API and technology platforms are welcome to leverage third parties to build custom integrations at any time, in order to join our official Partnership Programs and have access to your own sandbox environment, we require that partners leverage in-house developers to build a direct, platform to platform integration to the Bullhorn API.
A: The $5,000 annual fee allows us to dedicate the technical resources required to create, maintain, and troubleshoot your sandbox environment as well as maintaining our API documentation and integration guides. We are unable to offer a discount to this fee and the fee must be paid in full at the beginning of each annual term.
A: No. As Bullhorn is opening up access to our APIs and systems to partners, we do not require that same level of access to the partner solution. As such, we believe we are taking on more risk in the relationship. The terms set out in the contract, in particular in the LoL and Indemnification sections, are meant to mitigate our risk and may not be made mutual.
A: After engaging in a discovery call with a Bullhorn Partner Manager and reviewing the terms in our standard API agreement, please let us know if you’re ready to proceed. We will process the agreement via our electronic signature platform, Intelagree, and send it through to you for signature. Upon signature, our Finance team will issue an invoice for the annual fee. Once the fee has been paid and processed, you will receive your sandbox credentials and dedicated API key which your team may start leveraging right away to begin building your integration!
While we do have technical resources allocated to help maintain sandbox environments and address any bugs, breakages, or access concerns, it’s important to note that we do not provide direct building support or API guidance. Partners should be prepared to own their own integration building process from start to finish though you can certainly leverage our extensive documentation and technical guides for help along the way!
A: Developer Partners should be prepared to promote, market, and pitch their integration to Bullhorn customers. Once your integration has been approved, you will be added to our list of approved Developer Partners here and are welcome to leverage our Bullhorn brand assets to promote your integration through your own channels.
Though we do not provide dedicated marketing/sales support at this stage of partnership, we encourage you to leverage your sandbox environment to engage customers with demos and create marketing collateral. Try out different strategies to get Bullhorn customers excited about your solution!
