Bullhorn Live 2014: Why Workshops?
With Bullhorn Live 2014 pre-conference workshops taking place today, a common question we receive is “Why go to a workshop?” This is a legitimate question. With all of the informative sessions and booths, why would anyone need anything else? In short, workshops provide attendees with the opportunity to learn more about Bullhorn software in a live, hands-on environment. Since the introduction of Bullhorn S Release, many customers have voiced similar questions and concerns about features, procedures, and best practices. With this flood of inquiries, we at Bullhorn decided that it would be beneficial to our customers to offer a classroom learning environment in which these questions could be addressed.
At Bullhorn Live 2014, there are two workshops. One is for users and the other is for admins. It is important to make this distinction because users and admins typically use Bullhorn’s recruiting software very differently. For example, a recruiter may utilize the resume parsing tool daily, whereas an admin may never touch it. By dividing attendees into these two user groups, each group can gain the knowledge that directly relates to the features and tools that they utilize most often.
The fact that the workshops take place in a classroom environment is also important. A major benefit to having this type of an environment is that, oftentimes, you don’t know what you don’t know. As a workshop participant, you will not only get answers to your own questions, but will also hear answers to other questions that you might not have even thought to ask. By addressing these areas of concern before the conference, you can leave troubleshooting at the door and more fully enjoy the Bullhorn Live main event.
